DocOps

DocOps (Documentation Operations) is a set of practices and tools, grounded on first principles, that integrate Documentation (Doc), IT operations (Ops) for the aim of accelerating business productivity and sustainability.

While DocOps covers the DevOps software development life cycle (SDLC), and technical writing use cases, its true value is realized when applied at an enterprise scale. As such, unlike other XOps practices, it is first and foremost a business-oriented practice.
